Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar tracking technologies in use on neurabit.bond, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 28 May 2026.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device — usually inside your browser — to remember things between page loads. Some are essential to the site working; others help us understand how visitors use the site; others are commercial.
2. Our approach
We use as few cookies as possible. We do not load any non-essential cookies before you opt in via our consent banner. If you reject all categories, the website continues to function — you simply do not appear in our analytics.
3. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the website to function. They are set by us and cannot be switched off.
- PHPSESSID — a session identifier that holds your CSRF token while the brief form is open. First-party. Expires when you close the browser.
- cookieconsent_status — remembers your cookie choices so we do not show you the banner again. First-party. Expires after 365 days.
Analytics (opt-in only)
Loaded only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not share data with advertising networks.
- _pk_id — anonymised visit identifier. First-party. Expires after 13 months.
- _pk_ses — short-lived session identifier. First-party. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Marketing
We do not currently load any marketing or advertising cookies on neurabit.bond. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated and you will be re-prompted to opt in.
4. How to change your choice
Click the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer, or use the floating preferences button in the bottom-right corner. Browser-level controls (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) can also block or delete cookies — see your browser's help pages for instructions.
5. Do Not Track
We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends it. If GPC is enabled on your device, we treat that as a request to reject non-essential cookies, regardless of any banner interaction.
6. Updates
If our cookie use changes materially — for example, if we add a new analytics platform — we will update this page and re-display the cookie banner so you can review your choices.
7. Contact
Questions about cookies? Email [email protected] with the subject line "Cookies" and we will reply within two working days.
